I am also concerned. We pay weekly for up to 40 casual workers and my last weeks pay super submission is still saying processing along with this weeks. Its end of day 7. This whole new rule is unrealistic if the clearing houses and funds cant process in time and all the companies will get punished by the ATO for something completely out of our control.

Seeing a super payment stuck on Processing is pretty unsettling, especially with Payday Super now in place. Super payments are meant to reach each employee’s fund within 7 business days, but the ATO has said it plans to take a practical, education-focused approach in the first year where employers are genuinely trying to do the right thing.
At the moment, some Pay Super and clearing-house errors aren’t showing up as clearly as they should. That can make a payment stay on Processing instead of showing the real issue, or leave the status out of sync. If you can, sign in as the Pay Super Administrator and check the payment again through Manage Payments. That can sometimes refresh the status properly, because payment updates only flow through there for that role.
