Payday Superannuation

If I am the only person in a company that pays the wages and superannuation, will I no longer be able to take leave because I won't be able to set up wages payments in advance and then run the wages upon my return? Will I need to run the wages in real time each week?

    Hi OnBalance,

You can still take leave. You can schedule a pay run for a future date (the recorded date’s what shows). While super payments can’t be future‑dated, so once you authorise them, they’re processed straight away. You don’t have to run payroll every week while you’re away. You can check these helpful articles about processing your payroll and making superannuation payments that will guide you with the process.

    Cheers,

    Shella
