STP Branch issues
My client is running MYOB including payroll but went through an administration process during the year. As a result they went through 3 changes in branch number. Currently the ATO system is now sho...
BalAdvBooks Hi again, sorry I havent had the chance to test it out yet. hopefully today I will, but I will let you know as soon as I have.
DT66 no need for apologies!
I do wonder though, seeings deadline was Monday, if you have had any success?
After spending many, many hours following MYOB's instructions & awaiting info to filter through into individual MyGov accounts, only to realize their support notes were not working. I lodged a case with MYOB support to be advised that in actual fact a new file file (subscription) needs to be created to enable STP finalisation!
I am currently still in the process of getting my figures for the first branch back to what they need to be, importing 45 employees into the new file, manually inputting TFN's, it has been a nightmare of a task.
I hope by this time next week, I can say that I have found a solution!?
so sorry, ive been swamped and this was a file i really needed to spend time on, i havent attempted yet. but i am doing now. I did have that thought that is was the only way to fix by starting a new subscription, but there is no way i was going to do that. I did originally create new cards for the employees with a letter B on the old ones so i could identify each branch. i processed wages for a few employees under r the new "names" but this did not feed through correctly to the new branch because I hadnt edited the YTD figures back to zero in their cards before i started. so that was my first mistake.
i am writing down the procedure i am going to follow, so i will update you . sorry for the delay in getting back to you
