Thanks for reaching out and giving MYOB Lite another crack. Love the ingenuity with the third-party app idea!
Now, we're not 100% sure on the report side of things when it comes to splitting out sales like that (Australia/NZ vs. the rest of the world), especially through MYOB Lite. It's a bit outside the usual scope, but hopefully there's a savvy legend in the community who's tackled something similar and can chime in.
If the trail goes cold here, it might be worth pinging the support team of the custom app you're working with. They might have just the trick to make it work the way you want.

I have been looking into the third party side of things, and an alternative report that may be able to be generated would be something like an itemised sales by ALL customers (for a set period) that i could then filter by region (AU/NZ & ROW). Can I do a report like that?

MYOB works with heaps of third-party apps that might be able to handle a report like that. Check this link for more info. To make sure you get the best match for your needs, I’d recommend reaching out to our team through our virtual assistant MOCA or drop us a support ticket via MyAccount they'll steer you towards the right app for filtering sales by region and all other reports specification.
