I'm sorry to see that no one has replied to you yet. If the invoice now shows an unpaid balance and the activity section does not show a payment transaction it indicates the payment has been deleted.
To confirm if this is the case check if the bank account still reconciles. If the payment has been deleted the bank account will no longer reconcile and will show an out of balance when reconciling the current period.
