Linking a receipt can't be this hard
I can't believe the process I have established to link a receipt to a transaction is so hard, so I must be doing something wrong. Please help
(I have a similar task on MYOB with another company, and it is easy - they have an app that just works)
- Buy something on the company card, get a receipt
- Upload the receipt to 'draft expenses' using XERO ME
- wait for the bank to process the transaction. Allocate the transaction ('reconcile')
- go back to the transaction ('account transactions', select transaction. Click the 'attach' symbol
- attach the receipt from 'account', 'files', 'expenses' (after checking it is the correct one - there is no online view)
- go back to the draft expense and delete it
There has to be a better way?
