Tool purchase

Hi 

 

we have myob pro. We have brought some tools to start a sole trader business up for my husband. I want to enter the suppliers invoice using the enter purchases window fir some tools under $300 each. What category do you use for this purchase? An asset code? There doesn’t seem to be an asset register in this software but you must be able to put in purchases of assets somehow?

    Hi krystal44, 

     

    There isn't an asset registry feature in MYOB Business. You can only record these assets through purchases, spending money transactions, or journal entries. For advice on which accounts to record these assets in, it's best to consult with an accountant.
