MYOB EXO - Invoice line total inc tax shows subtotal price instead

Hey Everyone,

Hopeing someone may have an idea on what is going on. I have been modifying an Invoice report that we have and want to make the line items show inc gst.

This worked fine for the item price, but linetotal_inctax is showing the right line total when in designer and in the data table, but when previewing it, it shows the subtotal price!

Very confused how this is happening.

Any assistance welcome, spent 3 hours trying to work it out today.

  • Hi Shadoxity ,

My best advice is to talk to your business partner, as they know your exact business circumstances, and will be skilled at doing clarity form customisation.  As I'm sure you've noticed, Clarity is a bit of a particular skill, and most people who aren't consultants don't work with it often enough to do serious form customisation.

If you do want to customise the form yourself, the best guides for that are:

The Clarity User Guide - Which will tell you how to get the most out of clarity.

The Database Schema - Which tell you how the most commonly accessed tables in Exo hang together.

But again, I recommend reaching out to your business partner for either form customisation services or specific clarity training.

Thanks for that, May need to look at a different partner as they are the reason we are looking to adjust it. Number of errors etc in what they made.
