Inventory Barcode
Hi We have recently switched from Attache Access software program to MYOB AccountRight Premier, we are not using a POS program, are we able to use a barcode scanner when selling stock to customers....
Hello. Wasn't sure where best to ask this question. My company uses MYOB Exo (but may be moving to Acumatica later) and I've been tasked with looking into using Barcodes for our system. I undertand ARScan can only be used with Account Right.
I work in Marketing so don't know anything about warehousing/database management. We sell parts and we want each product code/SKU to have it's own barcode. At the moment we have labels on tubs containing these parts that show our product code and it's description, we want new labels that will show a barcode representing that part number. We'd want someone to be able to print a pick list that shows each part for the order to be packed with its barcode so they scan each barcode as they're picking/packing each order.
I've looked online but can't find any steps on how to do this.

Thanks for checking. At this stage, AccountRight doesn’t have a built-in function to release or print inventory barcodes for this kind of picking workflow.
So while you can use item numbers/SKUs in AccountRight, there isn’t a native way to have each item’s barcode printed onto pick lists so staff can scan them while picking and packing orders.
If this process is important for your business, you may want to look into a third-party add-on that integrates with AccountRight, as some customers use external apps for barcode-related workflows. You can also browse the MYOB App Marketplace to see what options are available for your setup.
