It is so frustrating that the standard cost is GST inclusive. We do not have a single supplier that has GST inclusive prices on their price list.
The online version of MYOB even has the GST inc/ex check box, but its greyed out and cannot be used.

We hear you – this product limitation is a bit of a downer for your workflow. The inventory standard cost is intentionally designed to work as a tax-inclusive price. Sure, you can manually adjust the standard cost with each purchase, but by default, it treats it as tax-inclusive. I came across a post that might shed some more light on how the standard cost works.

I don't think you fully understand the issue and inconvenience.
Nearly every supplier we have advertises their prices as excluding GST, I therefore need a calculator when checking the our cost price in the item information buying details
The online version of MYOB even has the GST inc/ex check box, but its greyed out and cannot be used. Make that functional in the online and desk top versions in the same way it is for selling details.
