Turning on Auto-Build
Hi wanting to please understand if we are able to turn on auto build on exisitng products. We are a cheese manufacturer currently we use our inventory codes for sales/invoices. When i look into setting up a new "cost of goods sold" account to inventory the item so we can build produced cheese to these codes it wont allow me to progress because I have existing sales against this code. Hoping for some help? Thanks so much

Welcome to the Community Forum.
You are correct in that you won't be able to turn on " I Inventory this Item" after a Sale has been recorded. You will need to create a New Item and inactivate the Old Item to start using the Inventory feature.
Once you have done this you could set it up to use the Auto-Build function.
