I have selected the Time option in the mobile app as I want to add a timesheet. According to the online instructions there should be a + button to tap to add a timesheet, but the only option available is to start a shift.
Payroll Settings in the online file are to track times using Timesheets. Is there another setting to be able to add a timesheet in the app rather than start and end a shift?
Hi christiewn - welcome to the forum and thanks for your question.
If the app only shows “Start shift”, your payroll admin has set you up for clock-on/clock-off rather than manual timesheet entry. The “+” button appears when the location’s time-capture method is set to Timesheets.
Please ask your payroll admin to check the time-capture setting for your location in the MYOB Team admin portal (here is a help topic that will help them with this). You must also be set up with an Hourly pay basis and have the Base Hourly wage category assigned.
Once this is configured, go to the Time screen in the MYOB Team app and tap “+” to enter the date, start and finish times, breaks and any notes. You won’t need to start and end a shift.
