Hi KellyC1
Thank you so much for getting back to us and share an update on the issue.
If you're employee are using MYOB Team app to record their times logged in there will be an option to start break and end break, When you check on the Activity and only have the option to start and end time. You can check on this Help Article: Using the MYOB Team mobile app has information and instruction on this. And also our Help Article: Getting Started with MYOB Team has information on the Type time captures available to use when using MYOB Team.
I hope this helps. If you need further assistance feel free to post again. I'm happy to assist.

Hi Cel
I still do not understand - there is no option for adding a break like both you and the help article you sent me state. Perhaps it would help to share a scnreeshot of the timesheet the staff are seeing - please see atatched. You will note there is date, a start time, end time and then total hours are calculated. there is a field to add a job and comments,. But no mention of breaks. I'm confused as the other store can add breaks ut the set up appears to be the same. Can you see anything on atatched that may give you any clue what the issue is?

HI KellyC1
Looking at the screenshots you're submitting an activity. Activity's only have the option to start and end time, this is explained on the Help Article: Using the MYOB Team mobile app that I have sent to you from my last reply.
The method you'll use to submit your time depends on how your employer set up MYOB Team.

Kindly check on the settings.
I hope this helps. And again, if you need further assistance, feel free to post again.

Hi Cel. No I haven't resolved this yet.
See attached screenshot of the settings. Its currently set to payroll, but I believe when my colleague set it up she may have had it set to 'time billing and payroll' instead of just payroll for the last tick box. We dont use jobs, only submitting timesheets wiht start, end time and breaks. I believe this may have been edited to 'payroll' after setup was complete and just assumed it would refresh once changed.
If this is affecting the timesheet function - How do I reset this in that case? When I go onto MYOB team in the web browser (using my login) I can add timesheets with breaks for them no problem. But when the staff logon in the app - they an only add activity
Thanks again

Hi KellyC1
I'm sorry to hear that you're still having this issue, I appreciate your patience in getting back to us and providing an update on this.
Have you tried to check the capture type on the location where your employee has to put up? If you want to utilize kiosk, your employee can punch during breaks you can choose tablet or phone.
Can you try to please follow this steps:
- In the MYOB Team Admin portal, click the location tab.
- Click Create location. The create location page appears.
- Enter the location name and address
- Select a Time Capture type. The options you're given are based on the timesheet preference you set in AccountRight
* Clock on, Clock off mobile: for business whose employees will use their mobile device to capture and prove attendance with high accuracy.
* Clock on, Clock off - table kiosk: For businesses with a fixed location and an emphasis on capturing and proving attendance with high accuracy on a Kiosk tablet.
* Timesheets (payroll only): Employees use their mobile device to record their time restrospectively (i.e at end of day or week) and the businesses has lower emphasis on proving attendance.
* Timesheets (payroll and time billing) : as above but for businesses who also wish to capture employees time for time billing purposes.
You can also set up new location with the correct time capture type.
Let me know how you go. If you need further assistance with this, I'm happy to assist.
