MYOB System Review

Hi

We are an automotive workshop equipment distributor turning over approximately $3–5 million. We use MYOB AccountRight and want to find someone to conduct an independent review of our setup. We're not looking to change accounting systems—we want to improve inventory management, purchasing, reporting, pricing, gross margin analysis, and overall efficiency. We may also need help with implementation.

We'd also like recommendations on CRM integration and automation.

We are based in the southeast of Melbourne.

Does anyone have any recommendations?

    Hi – it's been a month since you posted this, but I've only just come across it. Are you any closer to finding a solution?

     

    Your post caught my eye because this is very much the type of business we work with.

     

    Full disclosure, I'm with Tall Emu. We're an Australian business software platform that integrates with MYOB AccountRight – more than a CRM, but without the cost and complexity of a traditional ERP.

     

    We work particularly with wholesalers and distributors who want to keep AccountRight for their accounting, but need more around inventory, purchasing, pricing, reporting, CRM, automation and the operational side of their business.

     

    At $3–5m turnover, it may be that AccountRight itself isn't the issue – it's simply being asked to do more than it was designed for.

     

    We're not an independent MYOB consultant, so an independent review may still be worthwhile. But if you're also looking at software to improve the broader operation without replacing MYOB, we'd be very happy to have a chat and see if we could help.

     

    We're based in Sydney, with customers across Australia and New Zealand.
