Hi Doreen,

Thank you for your response it's really appreciated. I need to get our historical information out in CSV format however I can't workout how to do this. The only exports I seem to have is accounting data which doesn't give enough detail. I see there is  an export called monthly which doesn't seem to work and I'm not sure if that will have the level of detail I've been asked for. Is there anyone within MYOB I can talk to about extracting our data into a CSV?

Thanks for checking in. From MYOB’s current ACE Payroll update, the confirmed information is that ACE Payroll will be decommissioned on 1 April 2027, and you’ll still have access to your historical data on the desktop where ACE Payroll is installed. The update also encourages users to plan a move to another solution, with MYOB focusing support and development on MYOB Business Payroll.

At this stage, there doesn’t appear to be a specific update there about new extraction tools or a timeframe for them. For now, the main takeaway is that your historical payroll data should still remain accessible in your existing ACE Payroll desktop environment while you work through the review. Princess_R is there any update on extraction tools we are currently having our holiday pay reviewed by a third party and need to supply them with detailed payroll history. Thank you in advance for your help.

Yes I fell for that too.    So we have until before April 2027 if running Ace Payroll to change and we will still get the updates until then when needed?   Genreve_S​ and Princess_R​ ?

Can you please let me know when there will be an easy transition to another payroll product and what it will be?  Ideally I want to change at end of this financial year but wanting a smooth transition over.  Not sure what product to chose and when to do this.

No worries if that was a bit confusing. Quick heads up:

• MYOB Payroll support ends in April 2026.
• ACE Payroll will continue to receive support until April 2027.

They’re different products, so the timelines are different. Nothing’s been pushed back.

Good call on double-checking the dates and sharing the link. I can’t confirm that March 2025 end date, as the information we have states that Ace Payroll will be decommissioned on 1 April 2027. You can check this link for more info about the decommissioning.

Online information suggests that support and updates will expire on 31 March 2025 in New Zealand. Appreciate if you can please advise and confirm.
