Can Myob import files from Timesheet?

I've  been running the App "Timesheet" by Florian Rauscha for my android phone for many years. The program allows for a Export as Excel (XLS or CSV) file.

As this is a timer I use everyday and does what I  need for my Sole trader business I'm finding a need to move I to another accounting package. Can Myob import the files and work with multi hour rates and split hour blocks?

Unless Myob has another cellphone app that I can you to automate this process?

Thanks

Chris

  • Hi Chriss4

MYOB Essentials doesn’t contain the functionality to import timesheet information from third party programs. That said you can invite your employee’s to YourPay, which allows them to enter in their timesheet information into a website that then flows through into your pay run.

As this is web based you can use a phone, tablet or computer to access the information.

      Hi

Im currently on the Free Promo (Essentials)? and not sure what limitations it has.

I can Export from My phone app into a CSV and XLS format. However I tried to use the "Import" feature in this promo and only could get the data from my bank. It would post a error on the "Time sheet" import. :(     "... FIle format not valid"!

So my thought is that it cant import CSV or XLS files?!  Or its the usual with Microsoft version issues and compatibity?

If you have a soulution please help. I really need to mirgrate my data across to MYOB.

      TIA
