Thanks for describing how the error comes up. This usually happens because of the lock date.
Please try this:
- Go to Settings > Business settings.
- Check that the financial year is 2026/2027.
- In Lock date, untick Prevent changes before lock date and save.
- Then try creating the pay again.
If it’s still not working, I recommend reaching out to our support by creating a ticket in My Account or connecting with our live chat team through MOCA, our virtual assistant.
