Administrator with read only. Not selected, cannot change.

I have had an account set up for me. Full access administrator, I can input sales but cannot enter new purchases. 

The "record" button disappears and has (Read Only) on top tab.

We have tried deleting and starting again, have gone into settings but "read only" is not selected.

Any ideas?

    If you can enter other transactions but can't enter new purchases, I would recommend checking your role to see if it's only administrator role that is ticked. I suggest to only tick the Administrator role and nothing else. You can also check the Community Forum post for more information that is relevant to your concern.
