Cheque Number & Inactive Cards Defaults

Hi. We no longer use cheques. Is it possible to set up a default 'EFT' description instead of the automatically generated cheque numbers?   Also, why are inactive cards always shown by default? Whe...

    Go into your card file 

    along the search row you will find a box that says show inactive , untick this and only your active cards will show.

     

    As far as the cheque numbers go , I haven.t found a way to change the numbering system . I just don't worry about it too much. AS you say hardly anyone uses cheques anymore - think of it as just numbering the transactions
