General Ledger - Show Description in separate lines

We are already using job number so this wont be an option for us. I guess I will just need to update our record manually to show seperate cost in this case.

Hi PChan2019 , just checking whether you actually use job numbers when posting to the fixed asset account? (You may use them elsewhere but not for balance sheet postings for example).

Yes i do use the job numbers when posting to the asset account. 

If you dont mind I ask you this as well. I found something weird while I was manually entering the asset details in our spreadsheet. Some items posted to the fixed asset account arent through purchases, they are posted to the asset account from a bank payment entry. These amounts show on the General Ledger are always off. 

For example: 

on the General Ledger (Detail) Report, it shows

Delivery for 2 Chairs $80.00

2x Chair; Delivery for 2 Chairs $518.00 

Under the "Spend Money" entry, the entry is

$510.00 2x Chair

$88.00 Delivery for 2 Chairs 

Have you ever came across to this?

Sorry I can't help with that second question though - it seems very odd.

Hi PChan2019 , I don't know what's causing that either. Is that the display in Find Transactions, or the GL detail report? Are both these showing the same?

Sad that we are experiencing the same issue. Luckily we dont have massive data so I can do the job manually without spending hours on it.

The amount display in "Find Transactions" is also off (see attacehd screen shot).  Both GL and Find Transactions showing the same off amount. 

Not sure if it is because we used Inputed Tax. However all other purchases processed through "Enter Purchases" and "Pay Bills" do not have this issue. 

Well.... it is quite weird.... Hope someone from MYOB can be able to help.

As INP is not a default tax code, for us to investigate further we would need to grab a copy of that tax code set up - Lists>>Tax Codes>>Selecting the desired tax code.

In addition to that, getting a copy of the journal that has been recorded i.e. navigate to that transaction in the Transaction Journal would be ideal as well.
