How to remove "View invoice" link from emails

Hi,

We were just verified for secure invoicing (and I strongly echo every negative comment from others about that). As our customers pay by EFT, we have switched off the on-line payment option. How now do we remove the "view full invoice details" link and the "View Invoice" green box from what is now emailed to customers?

The invoice is attached as a PDF. The customer does not need two links to the invoice as well as a the attachment. How do we get emails to look like they did prior to what you did? As in, just the PDF invoice and no link your invoice portal?

Also, very disappointing that all invoices prior to verification are now set for "Pay Now" by credit card. Our customers are on terms and at statement time, we get lots of requests for copies of invoices. We now need to manually switch on-line off for every open invoice, or email them to ourselves first. Not good.

Anyway, please advise how to remove the links that now send with invoices. I was told before verification that once I switched on-line payments off, invoice emailing would be as it was. It isn't.

    Ditto DJMX5,

our invoices get sent via Outlook, not direct from MYOB and we don't want links in them.

As soon as we started the verification process, they're on our emails.

    Not good enough, AGAIN, MYOB.

Thanks but not correct for us. The links started the very second the verification process began. All invoices sent prior (they are in Outlook sent box) are how they used to be. It started once our verification started.

The timing for the 'trojan-horse' secure invoicing deceit was different for everybody.

This is already on the idea exchange, and I believe it is unrelated to the online invoicing. It was actually introduced, without announcement, with the invoice summary in October last year-ish. It's just that noone knows about it until they send a test email to themselves.

Edit - Sorry, I meant to send this as a reply to the whole thread, not directly to you DJMX5.

Of course you can't remove the links... ohh, says MYOB - what a good idea, put it on our 'Ideas Exchange'... not good enough MYOB.

Hi Princess, this isn't an idea, it's common sense. Is there a "Stop screwing around with our businesses" exchange?

MYOB, stop messing us around with such poor deceitful, communication without explaining the consequences of your forced and unnecessary changes. I am annoyed beyond words at MYOB.

I am stunned you are making us (who don't use on-line payments) send two identical links called "paydirect" to customers. We only want to send the PDF invoice, and without the amateur MYOB links or portals being involved - just like we signed up for all those years ago.

  • Hi DJMX5,

Totally hear you, and thanks for the honest feedback. Right now, there isn’t a setting to remove the “View invoice” or “View full invoice details” link in emails sent via MYOB. If this is something you'd like to see included in future updates, please make a post on our Ideas Exchange. Our product feedback loop ensures your posts, votes and comments are seen by our product teams, helping shape future priority.

    Cheers,

    Princess
