I'm unable to add any documents to my in tray and I'm also unable to access the current documents that are in there already (there are 41 according to the In Tray icon from the purchases window) Is ...

That’s an odd one, usually all In Tray items should be accessible, especially if the number of items appears next to the icon. A few quick things to try:
If you’re on the desktop app, you can usually bypass this by opening AccountRight in a browser.
Still no luck? Best bet is to reach out to support, log a ticket from the My Account page, or jump on live chat via MOCA, our virtual assistant.

I am having the same issues this morning. The in tray icon on the purchases page is greyed out and has a red exclamation point. Get an error each time I got to upload an invoice. Have googled and followed all the options as well as the above

I am still having problems sending invoices to the intray. They keep bouncing back. See screenshot below.
The file is one page in PDF form and does not exceed and of the size limits.
