In Tray Invoices -

Assistance with explaining what these orange ticks and crosses mean over some invoices that have been forwarded into our In-tray.

When i click onto these, no invoice appears just a large tick or cross.

  • I believe - when I FWD certain emails with the invoice attached from the original sender the ticks and crosses appear > I've instead composed a new email, attaching the invoice to that email and the invoice appears in the Intray - don't know if this is a solution but definately easier to figure out.

    Hi luttrell,

You're a legend for providing the screenshot over. Those orange ticks mean your invoice has been matched up and all’s good. The orange crosses? They’re telling you something’s missing or didn’t match, so you might need to have another look. When you only see the big tick or cross, it means there’s no invoice file attached for that one, just the status symbol. Hope this help clear things out!

    Cheers,

    Shella

Can you open the items with a tick to ensure that they have matched correctly?

    Hi AlanT,

If you’re looking at the ticked items in the In Tray, there’s no way to see if they’re matched up with transactions from there – the In Tray only shows docs that haven’t been linked yet.

Jump into the bank register or purchase register instead. Have a look at the right-hand column for a little document icon. If you see one, that means there’s a document attached to that transaction. You can open up the transaction to double-check if it’s the right doc.

If you want to dig a bit deeper, check out the help article called “Working with Uploaded Documents” for the full rundown on how the In Tray works.

    Regards,

    Hi AlanT , Genreve_S ,

I've deleted the ticks and crosses to restart again > resent the invoices that were missing back to the intray > they appear still as ticks and crosses > when I select and click ' Create New spend money"/Bill ' for both ticks and crosses no information appears.

I have checked the Bank Register > none of the invoices that I reforwarded are in the bank register either.
