Inventory value incorrect

Hi,

We have identified an error in the current value of one of our stock items.

As you can see in the screen shot, the current value was $7,516.39.  This is incorrect.  The value should be $1,617.94.

Is someone able to explain how this calculates?

This item we build/make to order, so don't hold stock.  I have attached a screen shot of the WO that shows that the value used on work order is the correct value.

The screen shot has been provided twice previously.

It shows the current value at $7516.39.  This is incorrect.  It should be $1,617.94.

    Hi, Blair_38

Kindly confirm if you are opening the item through the Item Register or through the Item List. We will need you to open the item through Inventory > Item List. A screenshot should show Quality On Hand, Current Value, and Average Cost. The screenshot should look like this as an example:

There is currently no stock, so no value.

Prior to the last sale, the value was incorrect.

    Hi, Blair_38

The Item register- is to check all transactions that happened on specific item and date range to know what has been added and subtracted.

The Current value of item- is the value of the item from the moment it was made to the current date.

The current item value could be adjusted. To do this, go to Inventory > Adjust inventory > Look for the item > Adjust the current amount and then click Record.

Please let us know how it goes.

    Best regards,

    Doreen
