Invoice, second page with QR code etc

Hello,

We have noticed that invoices now include second page showing How to pay, which displays the invoice number, due date, balance due, QR code and a link to pay securely.

Is this a new feature?

Is it possible to remove this?

  • Hi all.

We released an update last night which means invoices printed from AccountRight desktop will no longer include the 'How to Pay' page.  If you’re using payment schedules, they won’t appear on invoices printed through this flow, but they will still appear as expected everywhere else (ie. if you preview invoices, print through the browser, export as a PDF, etc.).

    For your context:

    • In August, we’ll reintroduce this section, which includes both payment schedules and “How to Pay”, as a configurable print setting under the Preferences tab in AccountRight, so you can turn it on or off as needed.
    • From September, we plan to further enhance the experience so you can print payment schedules without the “How to Pay” information.

  • Hey Brody_M

I'd like to address the confusion surrounding the latest update to AccountRight and the change in how invoices are printed.

Previously, there was a feature gap where exported invoice PDFs from AccountRight didn't include the "How to Pay" section, while emailed invoice attachments and MYOBB invoices did. With this update, we've standardised the PDF format so customers' clients receive a consistent, professional-looking invoice no matter how it's generated or shared.

I completely understand why some customers may find the additional page frustrating, particularly if they're printing invoices and see it as wasted paper. There are a couple of workarounds available:

    • If you don't need the payment information page, you can choose to print only the first page by specifying the page range in the print settings.
    • Print double-sided to reduce paper usage.

We are working on finding a better solution in line with the feedback provided about the current workarounds. I'll make sure to update you when I have more information, however I cannot provide a definitive time frame at this point. Thanks for using the forum to share your thoughts and feedback and your patience whilst we work towards a better solution.

    Apparently this is intended Brody.

I mean how dumb.  Turn on a new feature and don't have a checkbox to opt out.  Classic MYOB.
