Lock period - editing non-finance details

Hello!

I understand why we have lock periods.

However, what I fail to understand - why we cannot edit comments and PO details without unlocking and then relocking.

Surely, we should be able to edit any invoice details that have no effect on the financial details of an invoice.

I have many customers that pay and ship later, so when I want to change the comment, promised date or PO fields for my own purposes, if it is in a lock period I need to unlock, then remember to relock.
Am I alone in finding this frustrating? Does anyone else agree that we should be able to edit fields that have zero monetary impact on a sales invoice or purchase if it is in lock period?
