I have tested this out on my version and this doesn't seem to be happening. Would you be able to please send a screenshot of the autocorrect happening as an example.
The other thing you would be able to do is to select the drop-down arrow when selecting the supplier and just click the supplier as needed to prevent the auto-correct from happening.
