Prices not appearing on purchase orders

Could someone please help with the following problem.

We have all the items we purchase from suppliers entered into MYOB under the Inventory "Items List".

All information including Profile, Description, Buying Details and Standard Cost are enterd however when we create a purchase order and add the qualtity of the item we wish to purchase, the price always appears as zero.

What can I do to make the price show up in the purchase order.

Thanks

  • Hi Wrightkitchens , if you want the standard cost to appear on purchase orders, select Set-up, Preferences, Inventory tab, and tick the option there.

Thank you for your help. Prices now appear on purchase orders.

I have another question. When creating a new purchase order, how can I get it to open in the default "Item" mode instead of the "Service" mode?

      Thank you.

Hi Wrightkitchens , strictly speaking you should mark the title question as solved as post a new one. This helps with future searches.

However, the global setting is found under set-up, easy set-up assistant, then either sales or purchases tab, and select the default layout there. This can be varied by card using the options under selling or buying details, first option.
