Removing transactions from the print or email queue
we have always done this regularly as we were told it would slow down performance if we just left them. Is this true as it takes quite a bit of time to do our six company files every month?

Yes, it's true that transactions built up can slow certain functions. It's recommended to regularly maintain these queues fast performance. If you prefer not to have transactions build up in the print or email queue, you can set them to automatically not go to these queues. Either set the delivery of the transaction to Already Printed or Sent. Make sure to check this link for more information.
