SYSTEM User

Hi there,   I noticed there was a Purchase invoice being entered to MYOB by SYSTEM, just checking who is this phantom SYSTEM User as no one in the Finance Dept enter this invoice.   Regards Desm...

Hi MrFresh 

 

System user is the software itself. Not sure of the detail in your case, however when a file is for example migrated from MYOB v19, in some cases MYOB needs to create some transactions in order to properly record things, or for reconciliation purposes.

 

Was there anything unusual about the transaction where the invoice was created by the System, for example was there a payment made in v19 against an Order, or was there a reversal with a credit applied? Was the transaction created when the file was migrated from v19?
