My.myob manage staff users

When I go to My.Myob & select Manage Practice Users , the staff member is shown as available, however when I then go to Manage online File Access, they do not appear on the list to select. Can you please advise how to correct this. Thanks

  • Thanks, I was not going to Partner.myob.com. I now have access & can see my staff and client files, however it only goes up to clients starting with P? All clients after P do not show on my list? It does not give me the option to a second page or anything? Do i look somewhere else for these?

    Hey TanyaBennett,

     

    My.myob has now retired, so managing users happens directly in MYOB Business or AccountRight. If you’d like the full details, check out our announcement post about the change.

    Thanks Doreen. So how does it work now as a MYOB Partner we normally get the clients to invite our business partner in with admin, online access, etc & then through the MyMyob we allocate what staff member we want to work on the file? Are you now saying that we get the invite from the client & then we open their account and have to invite our staff member in?

    Hey TanyaBennett,

     

    You can manage all that in the Partner Dashboard, also called Practice Online or MYOB Practice. That’s where you can handle client invites and easily allocate your team to the right files without jumping through hoops. You can also reach out to our team on Live Chat via our virtual assistant, MOCA, or by submitting a support case via My Account, if you have queries regarding the dashboard.

    Thanks Doreen, really appreciated. Sorry about all the questions, I just have no idea how to access everything at the moment & now it is getting a priority. I have never used MyAccount or Practice online. Is it Practice online compliance? That is what google finds ? When I look for MyAccount, it just goes to a page about managing subscriptions, billing etc, nothing about managing users or our clients accounts? Do you have direct links so I can set it all up. Once I open things will everything from our current MyMyob be there? Thanks

    I have been able to open MYOB Practice & can see all our clients. TABS, clients > Client files > tasks, etc, Under staff member I can see all our staff, how do I allocate a staff member to a client & add a staff member? We do not do any bookkeeping, entries, etc into our clients, just their tax as we are accountants? Thanks

    Hi TanyaBennett,

     

    I see your previous workflow revolves around My.MYOB. You won’t need to download anything for Practice; it’s all cloud‑based now. Instead of using my.MYOB, you can jump into the Practice dashboard here: https://partner.myob.com/

    I have contacted support & advised there is currently an IT issue that only shows a certain amount of clients. Thanks for your assistance
