Forum Discussion
Hi Doreen,
I have done the procedure that you described below and the superannuation that I add does not appear in the drop down list for the staff superannuation details. I have seen other posts where people have had a similar issue and one of the suggestions is to exit AR completely and then restart MYOB. I've tried that also and still no luck.
When I look in the Lists/Superannuation Funds area, that new Superannuation Fund is listed. I just cannot see it in the staff payroll details section.
I am unsure what to do.
Thanks for your help so far.
Hi, WalSkil
Thanks for updating us about this.
If you could send a screenshot of the window where you cannot the superannuation fund and the window where you can see that it is listed so I can investigate this further on our end. Please make sure to remove sensitive information before posting in the Forum.
Best regards,
Doreen

Thank you for your response, Doreen.
Below screenshot shows how the Australian Retirement Trust Super Savings cannot be ticked to show that there needs to be a superannuation calculation for the employee on each pay run:
Below screenshot shows that the Australian Retirement Trust Super savings is listed in the Superannuation Fund List:
The employee who has the details as shown in the first screen has had no superfund allowance geberated from the last 3 pay runs, which is when they began theior employment here.
Do you have any idea what esle I need to do?
Thanks.

Hello Doreen,
Have you had a chance to look at the screen shots that I have shown you? The staff member had had no superannuation calculation allocated over the last 2 months.
Thanks

Hi, Toot
Thanks for your post, and welcome to the MYOB Community Forum.
If the super fund is not showing up on the list of employee details, you may need to create the super fund within the system. To do this, kindly go to Lists > Superannuation Fund Lists > Click New, and then enter the needed details. Once done, you may need to add the newly created super fund to the employee card file. For more information regarding your concern, kindly check The Help Article: Set up superannuation funds.
Please let us know if you require any further assistance with this. We are delighted to assist you.
Best regards,
Doreen

Hi Toot, an additional step that Doreen advised to us is quoted below. We did this additional step and the superannuation is now calculated for the employee's new super fund.
"Superannuation contribution will be calculated automatically as long the Superannuation Guarantee category is ticked from the employee's card file."
