Calculating Long Service Leave for Salary in Vic

How do you calculate, accrue and apply Long Service payments for employees on a salary in Victoria?   I have found the below examples on MYOB but I can not understand why there are two optoins and ...

The two examples represent different provisions.

 

Example 1 is the Victorian Law 13 weeks at 15 years payable after 7 years

Example 2 I have seen in some awards and maybe relevant in other states (not sure)
