FP: Unused AL - ULT

Myob has created 3 "Final pay" categories. I can't find information if this new wage item 'FP: Unused AL - ULT' attracts superannuation or not? I can't seem to add FP: Unused AL - ULT to the Superannuation Guarantee Exemption. Any help, please? Thanks.

    Hi there Joana,

Yes, I can confirm that you can select and/or deselect the FP Unused AL to be exempted from the Superannuation Guarantee. Just make sure to set up FP Unused AL under "Wages" so that it shows up as an option to be exempted from Superannuation Guarantee. If you're still having issues selecting and/or deselecting the FP Unused AL, you can reach out to our support team directly via our virtual assistant MOCA or by submitting a support case via MyAccount.

    Best regards,

    Doreen

    Hey there Joana,

You can check if the "FP: Unused AL - ULT" wage category is exempt from superannuation by following these steps:

    1. Go to the Payroll command centre and click on Payroll Categories.
    2. Click the Superannuation tab.
    3. Click the zoom arrow next to the Superannuation Guarantee category.
    4. Click Exempt.

If the "FP: Unused AL - ULT" wage category is selected, it means it is already exempt from superannuation. If it is not selected, then it is not yet exempt. This should help you determine the superannuation status of this wage item.

    Best regards,

    Doreen

      Hi Doreen,

thank you very much for your reply. I have followed our steps, however, the pay item in question (FP Unused AL) is not in the list as an option to select / de-select in the Superannuation Guarantee 'Exempt' area.

Are you able to confirm that you can, in fact, select/de-select the newly created FP Unsued AL category from the Superannuation Guarantee?

FYI: We are paying monthly for Myob to run the latest version.
