HI @catherinehu,
Thank you for your post.
If you wish to update or change the Base Hourly default value, you can go to:
- Card File command Centre and click Card List
- Click the Employee tab
- Click the blue zoom arrow to open the applicable employee's card
- Click the Payroll Details tab
- Click Wages
- Change the Employee's Annual Salary or Hourly Rate
You can also check on this Help Article: Changing an employee's salary or hourly rate, for more information.

Hi Cel,
Thanks for your reply, but unfortunately this is not what I wanted.
You shown me how to change Hourly Rate, but I want to change the Base Hourly default value under Payroll Details > Standard Pay.
Any idea?

Hi catherinehu
MYOB developers decided you cannot change the default to 0. Under Setup > General Payroll Information you can set this to 0.01 but not 0.
On the employees Wages tab the minimum hours is 0.01. However you can set the actual hours to 0.00 on the Standard Pays tab of the employee. And this seems to save.
If you set the defaults to 0.01, this reduces the risk of forgetting to adjust on the Standard pays screen for a new employee. 0.01 will stand out more than 76.

Gavin

Hi catherinehu,
Thank you for getting back to us.
My apologies for my initial response, as I provided the process on how to change the hourly rate instead of base hourly rate. I agree with gavin12345, you are unable to change it to 0 as the minimum wage hours is set to 0.01. You can only adjust the employee's real hours to 0.00 in the Standard Pays tab.
Feel free to post again if you need further help.
Kind Regards,
Cel
