I can see what's going on there. This usually comes down to the setup rather than the sync itself. You'll want to double check the pay item and leave (entitlement) setup for those part-time employees. The leave balance and the leave payment need to be properly linked for it to deduct correctly.
Also worth keeping in mind:
- If the employee is hourly, their leave accrual is typically based on percentage of hours worked
- If they're salaried, it's usually set as a fixed accrual per pay period
So if the setup doesn't match how they're paid, it can stop the leave from reducing properly when it comes through. I'd recommend giving the setup a quick once-over here: Leave and entitlements.
