PayDay Super - SMSF

Why after the new update can I not automatically pay the super straight after wages?

Message comes up as per below.  This did not happen last week. This will cause people to be late with Payday super if they cannot do it straight away after the pay run.  They will forget to go back and process.

    Hi Marlyse,

Thanks for the screenshot. I can see why this is concerning, especially when super needs to be paid on time. The message you've received means the Pay Super batch includes an SMSF, and MYOB requires the relevant STP report to be successfully accepted by the ATO before the super payment can be recorded. It doesn’t confirm from the message alone whether the recent update caused the change, as the STP report may still be pending or rejected.

Please go to Payroll > Single Touch Payroll reporting and check the latest report. If needed, select Send update event and wait until the status shows Accepted, then try recording the super payment again. If the report already shows as accepted but the message continues, make sure to reach out to our support team via Contact Us page. This way, they'd be able to check the file with you.

    Cheers,

    Doreen
