Payday super with a WPN

I have a client who employs a Nanny and therefore not eligible for an ABN, she only has a WPN. Due to having a WPN the client is exempt from STP until 2033 however it appears not exempt from Payday ...

Could you clarify what you meant by "paying super manually"? Does it mean employers pay superfunds directly by EFT/Bpay, without using a clearing house?

    Hi SEC232, 

     

    Thanks for clarifying. What Doreen_P means by "paying super manually" is that you pay it outside of MYOB Pay Super using a SuperStream compliant option, like the ATO SBSCH while it is still open, another compliant clearing house, or the fund’s employer portal, then you just record that payment in MYOB software.

     

    So it is a manual process for you, but it still has to go through a compliant channel, not just a random EFT or BPAY direct from internet banking.
