PAYDAY SUPER

We decided to start the weekly super payments now rather than wait.  One of the payments was post dated however the payment came out of our bank on the day I processed it:

As a result I now cant reconcile our bank account with MYOB.

I've tried to change the day on the payment in Manage payments but it won't let me.

 

Any ideas?

 

Also whilst it is coming out of our bank, it is taking a week or more to hit the employee's super account.  Where is the money held while this happens?

    Hi liz3,

    Appreciate you providing the detailed info. You won’t be able to change the Pay Super payment date in Manage payments once it’s been authorised. Instead, match the bank feed using the actual withdrawal date from your bank, and use that same date range when you run your Bank Reconciliation so the Pay Super payment and the bank statement line line up. If the dates are only out by a day or two, it usually won’t cause any issues as long as the amount and bank account are the same.
