PAYROLL CATEGORY (TAXES)

Hi

I have been researching on how to adjust my payroll tax to our government payg witholding requirement but cannot find one.

If you could help me out on how to adjust the already design PAYG Witholding tax in order for me to adjust to our local government requirement.

I am using AccountRight Premier.

Regards,

RB

  • Hi Reo1986 - thanks for your question.

AccountRight calculates the required PAYG Withholding based on the tax table you assign to each employee - you shouldn't need to adjust the tax amount.

Take a look at this help topic to learn more: PAYG tax tables

    I hope this helps!

    Hi Adrian,

Thank you for your reply and it seems to me the assign tax table inside MYOB premier have no option for us if we combare to our local goverment tax office gave us.

Please check the attache tax paye we use here and if possible to apply on AccountRight Premier calculations.

    Hi Reo1986

The tax tables in AccountRight are provided by the Australian Tax Office and cannot be changed. If your employees require different rates of tax to be applied, you might need help from a payroll professional.
