Payroll reversal not flowing through to STP Reporting

In January I processed a pay for an employee on the 24/01 for period 19/01 to 25/01. I then had to reverse that pay and ran a new pay for the same period on a different day being the 29/01.   Today...

    Hi BenchCBS, 

     

    The STP report sometimes does not match the other payroll reports for various reason. However, as long as your Payroll Register, Activity, and YTD verification reports match, there won't be any issues in reporting this to the ATO. I recommend reading through this forum thread for more insight regarding this.

Hi Doreen

 

The problem is that the STP reporting does not match MYOB reporting. The STP shows a figure exclusive of the pay that was reversed, whereas MYOB shows the figure inclusive of the reversal.

The STP report sometimes does not match the other payroll reports for various reason. However, as long as your Payroll Register, Activity, and YTD verification reports match, there won't be any issues in reporting this to the ATO.
