RFBA Not Showing on YTD Verification Report

I get where you're coming from! RFBA amounts are actually reported to the ATO once your employees are finalised for the year. Once finalized, the YTD Verification report will update to include these RFBA values. So, if you've entered RFBA amounts during the EOFY process and they're showing next to the employee, that's a good sign—they're accounted for internally.

To see what's been reported to the ATO, you can check the finalised YTD Verification report. It should reflect all the correct figures that have been sent over. If you're not seeing the RFBA on that report or the PAYG Payment Summary after finalising. You can also check the link here for more information.

The illogicalness of this workflow process is astonishing, it gets me every time.

Here is the logical steps to Finalise;

1. Go to EOY Finalisation screen
2. check the RFBA check box and enter all the required figures
3. click the Verification report and check it against the normal MYOB Payroll reports
4. if step 3 is verified Finalise STP for the year else correct the issues and repeat these steps

But MYOB has you do this;

1. Go to EOY Finalisation screen
2. check the RFBA check box and enter all the required figures
3. Finalise STP for the year
4. click the Verification report and check it against the normal MYOB Payroll reports
5. if step 4 is verified you are done
6. If Step 4 does not verify unfinalise STP, correct the issues and repeat these steps.

It is weird and there is no reason why they cannot include the total of RFBA in the verification report, the page itself even keeps a running total (at the top) as you enter them.
