Scam Email - Your STP 2 deferral deadline is approaching fast.

    Hi YasminG1 

     

    We are in the process of reminding our user base that the Single Touch Payroll (STP v2) deadline is fast approaching and we do recommend transitioning ahead of time. We are communicating those reminders through a variety of channels, one being direct email.

    The email you would have received is true and NOT a scam email. I have checked and verified that email was sent based on your company file.

    Thanks Steven.

     

    Just checking as it is unusual to see the %% symbols in the email address and in light of all the scams ie Optus, Medibank etc just making sure..

      Speaking with the team, it does appear that there was an error relating to the communications that did come out in regards to the sender you mentioned. Our teams are looking at rectifying that error and will be looking at re-issuing the comms. to the impacted users. 

      Apologies for the confusion. Our team is looking into the process now to get that sorted for next time. Thanks for raising it.

        Hi Steven,

         

        Thats ok.    Perhaps like myself, many users would NOT have opened the email as they would have thought the same that the email was scam and that would have impacted the communications MYOB was trying to relay.

         

        All good  I received the revised email with the correct sender from <noreply@email.myob.com> late last night, and was comfortable to open the email accordingly  :)
