STP Phase 2

Hi

If we have finalised our STP 2 reporting but realised we have allocated to the wrong catergory how can we go and amend this?

  • Hi JessicaZFS

Thanks for your post. If you have finalised the 2021-2022 payroll year and need to change an ATO reporting category you will need to:

    1. undo the finalisation
    2. change the ATO reporting category in the payroll category
    3. process $0 pays with payment date as 30 June 2022
    4. wait until that report is accepted and check the YTD verification report is correct
    5. re-do the finalisation

Please let me know if I have misunderstood your question or you need further help.

      Hi Tracey

I am not referring to the FY22. I am referring to the current changes for STP Phase 2. We had assign the catergories and we believe have selected the wrong one when setting these up. So we want to know where is it that we can go back and amend it?

      Thanks

        Hi JessicaZFS

My apologies, as you mentioned finalising STP reporting I misunderstood your query.

If you have assigned the wrong ATO reporting categories, open the payroll category/pay item>>select the correct ATO reporting category and save. You can send an update event to update the reporting category in STP. Or, when you process the next pay run the reporting category will be automatically updated.

Please let me know if you need further help.
