STP REPORTING STILL WITH OLD SOFTWARE ID

Sorry to see that no one has offered assistance with your query. Instead of importing the information, you can do what is called Transferring BMS ID. This means that you will inform the ATO that the software ID you were using before has changed to a new ID.

 

1. Find the old software ID through the ATO's online services:

  • Log in to Access Manager
  • Go to Employees > STP reporting
  • Click the dropdown arrow next to one of your STP reports
  • Copy the Business Management software (BMS) ID 

2. Then on your current software, we need to enter the ID:

  • Go to Payroll > Payroll Reporting > under Business ABN connected to the ATO - click on Edit STP business details
  • Confirm - Edit STP business details > Follow the prompts until you get to 6. Transfer BMS ID.
  • Select Yes > Enter the software ID collected above
  • Select Report and enter your name to send to the ATO
