STP2 Bonus & Commissions

Hi I have just moved to STP2 and when I go to run payroll the following message comes up "Bonuses & Commissions are tax at special rates which need to be manually calculated and entered in the next window" So does that mean I run the Bonuses & Commissions through that window & then run their normal pay through the other? Please help TIA

    Hi Rebecca_Wilde, 

     

    Thank you for your post. If you've selected the Bonus/commission option in the process payroll window, that is a information message reminder to let you know that you need to manually calculate PAYG on bonus and commission paymentws. More information on this is available on this Help Article. 

     

    Generally speaking bonus/commission payments can be processed either in a normal payrun or in a separate pay run as long as the PAYG is calculated correctly.
