Timesheet entry

Hi, I am trying to use timesheets as there are multiple jobs. I have entered the timesheet corrrectly, it has opened in the payrun, veiwing it is correct, however when it continues to the calculation section it is grossly changing the base hourly? I am not sure where this comes from. Time sheet has 80 hours base hourly, 7.87 Time & Half, 8.75 double time. The overtime is flowing correctly, but the base hourly is 144 hours > 64 hours too much?

    Hi TanyaBennett,

I’m sorry to hear that the base hourly hours are changing when you move through to the calculation section. From what you’ve described, the 80 base-hourly hours entered on the timesheet are increasing to 144, while the time-and-a-half and double-time hours are coming through correctly. One thing to check is the employee’s standard pay settings. If standard base-hourly hours are entered there, they may be getting added to the hours from the timesheet. It’s also worth checking that there isn’t another timesheet or pay item contributing base hours in this pay run. Could you review those settings, recalculate the pay run, and check whether the base hourly returns to 80 hours? If it still shows 144, reach out to our live chat support through our virtual assistant, MOCA, or submit a case via My Account so they can further check this.

    Regards,

    Sai
