Wages in the Browser Account Right

Since switching to STP2 after the end of the fin year, I have been using the browser to process wages.  It's certainly not as smooth as the app, or maybe it's just what you know, but I wonder a couple of things:

 

1. do you HAVE to process wages thru the browser?

 

2. in the app when you process Ann leave or sick leave, you can click a button and record the dates, or notes against the entry - where do you do this in the browser?

    Thanks for your post. You can still process pay runs in the desktop software. The Payroll reporting centre will open in a browser as this is how STP Phase 2 connects to the ATO.
