Cash GST Accounting

We are using Accountright premier online, is there a way that I can change to cash basis so it shows in reporting for liabilities owing.

  • Hi Hydranet

Thanks for your post. There isn't a way to set a company file as either cash or accrual accounting basis. If you lodge your BAS manually you can select your accounting basis in the BAS info settings. If you lodge online the accounting basis is populated by the ATO.

If you want to report on your GST liabilities on a cash basis you can run the GST Summary/Detail - Cash reports. These reports are found in GST/Sales Tax tab.

Please let me know if you need further help.
