Deleted 2 GJs which used code 3-9000 - Now it is no longer available

I have managed to do the most stupid thing. I deleted 2 GJs that were using 3-8000 and 3-9000. I understand that I cannot retrieve deleted General Journals but when I try to recreate them 3-9000 is...

Thanks for your post, and welcome to the MYOB Community Forum.

 

Kindly confirm which accounts are under your 3-8000 and 3-9000. If this is for an equity account for current earnings, the account cannot be changed or deleted. If you wish to create the 3-9000 account again, you cannot use the same number. We would highly recommend speaking with your accountant.
